General Information

Compass Box wants to challenge assumptions about Scotch whisky with its limited edition Myths & Legends series. There here is Myths & Legends I, created to change the perspective on individual casks, as they can be an unreliable authority for the style of a certain distillery. It blends two parcels of malt whisky from the Balblair distillery, each boasting totally different flavour profiles. The younger parcel is full of malty and citrusy notes, the older a much creamier affair with lots of ripe fruit character. Together, these two whiskies create one totally awesome, well balanced one! It was bottled in July 2019, with 4,394 bottles released at 46% ABV.
