Making whisky in its most original form is what Edradour has among Scotch fans Made a legend years ago. Up until a few years ago, it was one of the few distilleries in Scotland that produced its single malt exclusively in old farm buildings, sometimes with equipment that was more than 100 years old. And which are otherwise rarely used in whisky making. That has not changed even after the expansion to include Edradour II, which was completed in 2018.

The Highland distillery consolidates its favourite status with exclusive vintage bottlings. Their hallmarks: a finish in (strong) wine barrels. This 22-year-old single malt whisky matured for 13 years in former bourbon barrels before it was decanted in Barolo Hogsheads.
