They have also acquired great skill in selecting the right time to bottle these gems. Their Old & Rare Platinum series of cask strength bottlings, launched in 2001, is one result of this skillful craft.
This is a splendid Speyside single malt from the Dufftown distillery, matured for 30 years in a single bourbon barrel between November 1991 and May 2022.
The whisky was independently bottled by Hunter Laing, releasing a total of 247 cask-strength bottles for its Old & Rare Platinum series.
