Mezcal de Leyendas is focused on bringing artisanal mezcals using rare and unique agaves from different regions within Mexico. Instead of focusing on one particular type, their aim is to use the most prevalent agaves from each region allowing them to guide the consumer across the entire DO of mezcal.

Maguey Verde San Luis Potosi is produced by Master Mezcalero Juan Jose Hernandez in the small town of Santa Isabel in the State of San Luis Potosi. This artisanal mezcal is made with agave Salmiana using traditional methods.

The herbaceous nose with aromas of bell pepper and jalapeos is followed by a slightly sweet palate with strong mineral notes and gentle smokiness. The finish is slightly hot, with sweet fruity notes.
