Penderyn Patagonia is produced by marrying Penderyn’s single malt whisky with that of La Alazana Distillery in Patagonia. This is #11 in the Icons of Wales series of bottlings, celebrating a significant person, milestone or event from Wales. It is bottled at 43% abv.
Sweet, floral and perfumed on the nose. Orchard fruits green apples and sweet pears vanilla, a light aroma of honey and caramel. The palate is nicely balanced. Sweet honey, apple tart and juicy pears with vanilla and light oaky notes. A mix of spices: cinnamon, peppers and a hint of cloves, together with almonds and creamy toffee. Dried fruits lingering with sweet spice at the end.
